What is Pedal Commander?
Eliminate throttle lag. Feel the Difference.
If you want faster lap times, quicker 0-60 times, and full control of your throttle, the Pedal Commander is for you. It gives you the ability to make your gas pedal more sensitive for a sportier feel.

City Mode
Gives you a more active throttle response. Perfect for daily driving. Many of our customers say that city mode allows the vehicle to accelerate as it should have from the factory. It gives you the response of an "old school" throttle cable, with a 1:1 pedal-to-throttle acceleration ratio.
*The recommended mode to drive in traffic.

Offroad Mode
Gives you a more active throttle response. Perfect for daily driving. Many of our customers say that offroad mode allows the vehicle to accelerate as it should have from the factory. It gives you the response of an "old school" throttle cable, with a 1:1 pedal-to-throttle acceleration ratio.
*The recommended mode to drive in for offroad.

02
Remove the panel cover and disconnect the gas pedal sensor.

03
Plug in the Pedal Commander and make sure you hear the click!
NEVER CHANGE THE MODES WHILE YOUR FOOT IS ON THE ACCELERATOR.
You should only change modes when the accelerator pedal is not being pressed.
Sleeps automatically.
The Pedal Commander unit will automatically shut off when the ECU in your vehicle goes to "sleep". This usually happens 5 minutes after you shut off your engine.
Hear the click.
When installing the Pedal Commander, if the plugs are not fully locked in, they can become loose over time. To ensure you locked the plugs in place, you will want to hear a "click" sound when connecting the plugs. That click signifies that they have been locked in tight.
