I've tested all settings vs modes on my Tundra, landed on setting "#2" in normal mode as my go too every day driving.
I may bump it to "#3" eventually, once I learn a little softer foot. Lol
"#3" in Sport mode is crazy around town, especially corners, squealing every corner.
Not sure when I'd ever use "#4", but we'll see.
I have yet to really play with it on the freeway, so not sure how that'll go.
But overall, I absolutely love this unit, my truck takes off like it alway's should have.

Works great. This is the second one I've had and it absolutely maximizes the performance of your vehicle. You have no idea how much power is untapped by the factory throttle programming until you install one of these and hit the gas. I'll never buy a new vehicle and not immediately order a pedal commander for it. 10/10 100% recommend.

I have a 2024 Tundra Limited with a twin turbos V6 engine. The accerator was spongy and non responsive. It was actually awful. I was either almost getting ran over after pulling onto the street, or having to stomp it and barking tires to get away from oncoming cars. Unacceptable and shame on Toyota. Anyhow, the assistant service manger at the dealer said, “ You need a Pedal Commander!” After some research I purchased and installed one. Problem solved!!! Running great on Sport + mode #3. Easy install and kicks ass!!

I have a 2017 Tundra Crewmax. I love the truck, but it has always lagged a little with the power. The power is there, the throttle response to access it is slow. The pedal commander fixed that. I made my truck feel much more alive. It is so much more fun to drive now. If you are on the fence about buying one of these (as I was for years), do yourself a favor and buy one. You will enjoy it.

Before I added the Pedal Commander my Tundra was getting 14.7 mpg. I drive 30 miles one way to work everyday on interstate so using Eco mode my mileage has increased to 17.8. Well worth it plus using the app is easy to switch to a more responsive mode when I want or need to

I had a pedal commander on 2019 mustang GT trade it in on 2021 Toyota tundra. Nothing I drive feels the same without a pedal commander. Really does change the feel of the way things drive. Treat yourself with a pedal commander you won’t regret it.

This pedal awakened “Beast-Mode” for my 2021 Tundra. After installing it, I drove it to work while on the Sport setting +4. Very fast not only in the response time, but increased acceleration while barely pressing on the pedal. After work, I switched it to Sport+ and +4. (Top level) I took it for a short spin in the big parking lot. It felt like the front end was going to lift off! Word of caution: probably not for city driving! This pedal WILL NOT disappoint you!

This product feels gimmicky. Yes,put it in Sport mode and everything from the front seat is in the back sear instantly, but I bought it for Eco mode. I'm quite disappointed because it seems to make grandma's pass me and my MPG has stayed the same as it was prior. Two gas tanks on Eco mode hasn't budged my MPG a bit. Pretty let down.

I purchased the Pedal Commander for my 2024 Tundra Platinum and couldn't be happier. The installation took all of 5 minutes while setting up the app took another 5 minutes. I've set the unit to 'City 2' which perfectly negated the factory programmed lag. I highly recommend the Pedal Commander!

Installed on a 2023 Toyota Tundra TRD Off-Road. Installation takes 5 minutes or so, but getting the clip off of the accelerator takes some hand power. As far as the unit itself, I love it! I set it to be more responsive when I am pulling a heavy load on one of my trailers, but otherwise keep it in "Eco" mode to save gas. The "Eco" mode really does save gas, too! The 2022+ Tundra already gets VERY good mileage to be an almost 400 hp truck, but the Pedal Commander boosts that stat even more!
Just for kicks I tried it out on the Sport+ mode, tuned to deliver the most responsiveness as possible. It was so responsive, I could not even touch the gas pedal without slinging rocks. Even a 10,000 lb trailer would not be enough to justify that setting, but its still fun to have. Overall, I love this thing!

A friend took me on a ride in his Tundra that had a Pedal Commander. I knew I had to have one. It arrived quickly. Installation was easy. The hardest part was finding the release tab from my existing throttle pedal wire loom. The rest was a piece of cake. The change to my 2015 Tundra's throttle pedal is 100% better.

I was a little skeptical at first but thought what the heck. So I pulled the trigger and ordered a pedal commander for my 2020 Tundra. Installation was a breeze; 20 minutes and it was ready to go. I started the truck and synced the Bluetooth on my phone and immediately took it for a test drive; I was blown away! Instant improvement. Next test, towing my RV. I placed it in Eco Mode and went on a 1600 mile round trip adventure in Texas and was amazed how well it did; slower responses in Eco Mode made a huge difference on towing the RV. Unhooked the RV, placed the pedal commander in City Mode and boom, instant change in the feel and drive of the truck with instant throttle response. Best bang for the buck of anything I’ve ever installed on a vehicle. Unreal the throttle response on my 2012 Tundra. I have 37 inch tires and when I have it set to Sport+, it’s really hard not to spin the tires taking off. Extremely easy to install and operate. Highly recommended.

Really nice package. Have not driven it much but seems to get a little better fuel mileage. Throttle settings are amazing. Actually works on low end throttle not so much at wide open throttle (WOT) which would be nice. I want to cut out the computer telling my truck how to operate.

Great product but the clip that should hold my Commander to the dash is already failing after a week. Not a show stopper though. My truck moves jumps off the line now.

it's quite simple and as soon as I tried a recommendation setting from a YouTuber, (City +4) my truck shot out like a rocket from a dead stop in Target parking lot (startled me a tad). It definitely does what it says it will for throttle control. Can't wait to test it on long drives in Eco and Sport mode(s) when I'm at a stop, but the weather here currently in AK won't be permitting such. I'm surprised I was waiting this long to get one and upset I didn't do this sooner.

Installed Pedal Commander on 2021 Toyota Tundra Platinum Crewmax, 5.7L V8 engine. Installation was straightforward and simple. Took all of 2 minutes to connect, and 10 minutes to mount the controller and wiring. Significant Improvement in throttle response performance was immediate and very noticeable. In the Sport+ mode with +4 selected it s nearly impossible to not chirp or spin the tires. Zero to 60 time improved by 1.2 - 1.5 seconds based on several 'unofficial' timed runs. Still tweaking the Commander to find the optimum settings for my driving. Wish I had installed Pedal Commander sooner -- Love it!!

Pedal commander truly lives up to its name I drive a 2014 toyota tundra and we all know those vehicles have peddle lag once I installed peddle commander which was super easy to installe there's no possible way of installing this wrong ...but once I was plugged in I noticed a huge difference instantly when they say it wakes your vehicle up it truly does and it has the different settings for city and sport modes so you can set it to your liking very happy with the product....

I can definitely tell a bit difference. I really like the Sport Mode. I found the Sport+ mode to be a little too much. After driving in Sport Mode 4 setting for about a week, I was getting use to it, so I turned it off for a while to feel what it was like before. It was quite a difference. I liked it so much that I purchased one for my 2013 Ford F150. Hopefully it will work as well as this one has for my 2021 Tundra. Thanks!

Well, the 2024 Toyota Tundra does have a quick start with out the pedel commander , because of the turn button switch built into the tundra already from factory is pretty awesome. But as I plugged in the cammander and as I put it in sport Plus mode and moved it to the 4th highest setting , that vehicle went crazy responcive , to the point you do not want to try to start out from a stopped position because you WILL be buying tires for this vehicle sooner than later. One question , why will the economy button Not light up at all on city , sport and sport plus. JOhn

This is my third Pedal Commander and all of them have out preformed past my expectations. I just installed one on my new Toyota Tundra. WOW ! Ordered device and within about five days it arrived. Took about 5-10 to install. Immediately noticed the vastly improved throttle response. Thus far I have mostly used the city and sport settings, +1-2. My 2018 Tundra 5.7 ran good before but the throttle lag was very noticeable. Now there is no throttle lag and the truck runs even better. I haven't used eco mode but briefly and feels like factory set up. So far it's doing it's thing without throwing codes and running like a scalded dog. Great product...

I was unsure at first if I should purchase but decided to go ahead and see. 1st of all I was only getting around 10 mpg and with eco mode I'm getting around 16 now. And then there are the other 3 modes with their 8 settings each. Gas mileage went the other direction but the fun definitely increased.

Four stars because it's been 3 days since I installed the Pedal Commander. It works as it is advertised and other customers said about it.
Immediately I can tell the difference between eco and city mode. I love it. I have not tried the Sport and Sport+ mode because of the wet weather in my location. I'm still learning if the MPG improves or the same.
Overall I do recommend the Pedal Commander if you are like me, don't have any mechanical experience to manipulate the engine or some sort.

Fantastic product!!! The only other way I would get better throttle response was to push my tow haul button, but then it wouldn’t stay on when you shut the truck off and restarted. Definitely like the way you can fine tune the pedal commander.

Seems to be great, just 24 houses into it but have tried all settings. Sport plus is a little too aggressive but I purchase the pedal Commander for the eco mode. I have an 08 Toyota tundra and was able to find a good setting within the eco mode to lighten up the ever so touchy Toyota gas pedal and it worked great on my drive to work today. Vehicle shifts smoother and does not buck on takeoff within that setting. The rest of the settings I can see being very useful for towing, hills, highway, or track.

The PC does exactly what it says it will do and exactly what I was looking for. Easy to install and the different settings really change throttle response in very distinct ways. I am primarily looking to have my pedal respond with greater control and to increase fuel mileage, and I am seeing both after just a couple days of driving. Originally got a Pedal Commander for my Dodge SRT. It made a huge difference in throttle response. When I bought a new truck, I immediately ordered one for it as well. The difference is night and day. More power, more instant power, and lots of "get up and go." I recommend if you are a "spirited" driver looking for more power from your vehicle.

I don't really know yet whether or not the Pedal Commander will do what I am looking for. Online instructions were ok. They failed to mention that there's a locking clip on the the truck's plug that needs to be unclipped in order to remove it. And it's hard to see. A neighbor knew what to do. And that little bit of knowledge made it easy. Once in use it could have brighter lights indicating which mode it was in. Otherwise it's easy to install and use.

Pedal commander works very well. I was primarily looking for smoother acceleration. Check. I would have found it helpful to have a brief written instruction in the box on how to switch the settings. I managed to figure it out after playing with it for a few min though

Mounted mine down low close to under driver’s seat, since it’s so easy to use the Bluetooth app, you don’t really need to have access to the unit once installed. I’m really liking the city mode +1 for everyday driving. Just dail in what response you’re looking for. I tried sport and sport+, all I can say is sport+ is legit spooky quick.

I had a very unresponsive throttle prior to install. It would cause you to push down hard and it would then kick in harder than you expected. After the install, I have noticed that I can take off VERY smoothly. I have tried the Sport Mode and it is EXTREMELY peppy! Way more than I was expecting! It is so new I have not had the chance to try it out in very many scenarios. I do like the way it allows me to drive now. It takes the Herky Jerkyness out of the start ups.

I was simply looking to eliminate the lag time from when I told the engine to go to when it actually responded. This product does exactly what it is advertised to do, and it IS noticeable. So I am satisfied with the results.
No longer will I be subject to having random clowns attempting to pass me on the right as their lane ends in an effort to get in front of me. Or the freeway road warrior that refuses to let on ramp traffic merge.
It does not, however, increase HP, torque or top end - nor is it designed to. If that is the desired result then look for other, more costly upgrades. As for any claims of increased fuel economy, I am skeptical of any improvement in this area. If increased MPG is on ones agenda there is an ECO MODE setting, which may be beneficial for long straight, distances.
Keep in mind there will be a short learning curve as one will need to adjust pedal pressure sensitivity.
A bit pricy, but I find it makes for a more enjoyable diving experience.
