Completely changed the way my truck drove in a matter of minutes. Before the Pedal Commander, my truck has a SERIOUSLY dangerous delay, especially if I was doing a u-turn. I could have my pedal smashed to the floor and it would do nothing for several seconds. Initially I started turning off traction control, which fixed my issue, but with the pedal commander, I can keep traction control on (unless I wanna have fun) and the throttle is there when I need it, even in a u-turn. I'd recommend for anyone.

It arrived earlier than expected, super easy to install, took 5 min, eliminated the throttle lag immediately, sport+1 seems to work the best for me , I haven’t even tried +2-4, and don’t think I will , great product if your looking to jump off the line quick, does not improve horse power, just kicks up what you already have , I’d highly recommend this to anyone who has a need for speed ,

I have only used the City setting (in normal, -2, and+2) and it is like having a different truck. Finally, I can feather the throttle coming out of a corner to speed up and the truck will go. Before it would just continue to slow down for a bit. I would literally be at least at the half throttle position before it would respond. I can now pull out into moving traffic from a stop and not wonder if the engine will respond in time and the truck move quickly enough to safely get into the traffic. I cannot tell how many times I ended up hitting the brakes and stopping because the throttle would not respond.
Now when I want to pass on the interstate, I can just touch the throttle and go, where before I had to mash the throttle and hope it would pick up in time/enough.
The only hard part to installing it for me, was being able to get under the dash. One suggestion is that before you go to install it, figure out just how the connectors work/lock in.

I installed this for a friend who did some research and figured it was a great idea. I was skeptical but told him I’d put it in for him. Turns out it changed the entire feel of his truck. It’s crazy the change in power delivery. Made his ram feel like a slingshot. If you want a snappy feel and the power to be instantaneous then this is the product for you.

Great product, second Pedal Commander I’ve owned. Both were for lifted V6 Ram 1500’s with 35’s and provided that necessary extra throttle to make driving enjoyable. Wouldn’t drive without it!!!

Pretty straight forward install. Only issue was trying to release connector for throttle pedal. Found video on YouTube that showed me how. Would have been nice if instructions included that info.

What a difference! This thing takes the lag out of the RPM’s/pedal. I wasn’t sure it would really make a difference but it does. Makes not only everyday driving more enjoyable but also really wakes up the throttle response all the way through acceleration. I seem to have settled on City +2 as my go to setting for everyday driving but I like how you can really dial it in for whatever kind of driving mood you are in. It’s so nice to have a more instant throttle response. Highly recommend. I wish I would have purchased it sooner.

Its amazing the difference between was once a regular pedal and now. I cannot drive around on sport+ 4 and want to gun it all the time. The acceleration is fantastic and the pedal response is immediate. The city 2 setting is about what it usually is, but with from the factor, but with better response as well. I tried ECO setting and the MPG went up pretty well too.

Pedal Commander is everything it is said to be! In Sport + mode number 4 setting, my truck performs like a Hot Rod! Works awesome with my tuner and other mods! No pedal lag and downshifts are way more responsive! Love it!

2015 Ram EcoDiesel 59,533 miles. The pedal commander does NOT cure the pedal hesitation from a stop. Once you get MOVING the pedal is very responsive. I’ve had it on for 2 weeks now and the infamous EcoDiesel pedal hesitation has not changed from a stop and go.

I have a 2018 Ram 1500 Laramie 4X4 with 3.0L eco diesel. Amazing change in throttle response. I really wasn’t sure if I would see any difference but I was wrong and not disappointed. No regrets at this time.

Based on the positive comments from some of the from watching some of my favorite auto related shows, I ordered a Pedal Commander for my 2020 Ram Rebel. I received it in a couple of days, installed it in a couple of minutes, and was on the road. The range of options on this unit is amazing, and although I just now finished my first check ride with it, It is going to be a great addition in both mileage and performance.
Just one thing, if you are used to the lag in the newer vehicles, GO EASY! There is no lag anymore, and if you are in the City or sport modes on level 4 for example, 4, it will accelerate much faster than you are used to! GREAT PRODUCT!

Bought it for my 2024 Hemi (with E-torque) Ram a couple of days ago, and so far so good. Installation took me all of 5 minutes. Too early to see any MPG difference, but driving in sport mode is a blast. Any delay is now nonexistent. I hope to write an updated review once I get it really broken in.

I have a 2023 ram 1500 crew cab. I was very dissatisfied with the way my truck was running with only having 3400 miles. My son has same truck but his has the pedal commander in it. The difference between the trucks was unbelievable so much so I bought it for my truck. What a difference it has made in my truck like night and day difference for the better. It’s like my truck is on steroids. Plus mpg on highway was 22 mpg last weekend. My engine is the 5.7 hemi v 8. I watch a lot of Motortrend and Speedvision TV, so I’ve known about Pedal Commander for a while. About 6 weeks ago I traded my 2017 RAM Rebel for a 2024 RAM Rebel. I trust the guys on the car shows that I watch, so I decided to order one. Now I’m kicking myself for not buying it a long time ago. City -3 is my typical setting, but every once in a while I’ll put it into Sport mode. The difference is amazing. I now know what I’m going to get every time I press the pedal. Awkward take offs are a thing of the past. And, if I put it in Sport mode, I know that it is going to slam me back into my seat. I’ve had my Pedal Commander for 3 or 4 weeks now and I haven’t tried Sport + yet. I’m waiting until I’m by myself and in an empty parking lot. Yea, I’m a little scared. I also know that my wife will not appreciate Sport +. If you don’t have one, get one. You will not be disappointed. It is freaking amazing.

Gonna be completely honest about this. Bought it for the Ram 1500 at a military rate. It took about 20min to install from waiting to shut the EPU down and swapping out the gas pedal plugs. Holy Crap the performance that it changes to the acceleration is insane. Eco is great, city mode it's punchy, sport is aggressive, and sport plus is like the MF Raptor! If I had a weighted rear I'd probably pop a wheelie. I'd say it's not for a Subaru... lol but if you got something that you want a lil more every now and then this is it. Best part it won't mess with your warranty and it's easy to remove.

All I can say is wow. It completely got rid of the lag that was in my pedal. It is unbelievably responsive and it shifts even smoother and is such a smooth ride. The power is on demand whenever you need it. And it is such a compliment to my truck after I swapped out the muffler and put an air intake in it.

Difference between daylight and darkness. I have not tried all the settings, I drive in city mode and planning a trip in which i will use eco mode. The biggest problem with my Ram 1500 with the Hemi, was staying consistent on the Interstate. The lag time was aggravating. Problem solved, love this unit.

I got this at the recommendation of my mechanic for my 2023 Ram TRX. I was having some lag in acceleration, both at take off and at approximately a 30 mph punch. I can happily say that both issues are now a thing of the past. My mechanic set it at Sport 3, and it packed too much thrust (something I never thought I'd say!) - I now have it at 2, and it's perfect!
I've only had the Pedal commander for around 2 weeks, so I cannot speak on improved gas mileage........but, I bought a TRX for a reason, and smart use of gas mileage is not it!!
Very impressive gadget that I highly recommend and will be singing it's praises to friends, family and anyone who'll listen!

My 2014 ram eco diesel always had a flat spot off idle. Dealer couldn't fix it. Pedal commander totally took it away. Felt power is much improved and my truck it they it should be. A pleasure to drive. I've not experimented with the differs setting yet.

I love my pedal commander. Currently running this one on a 2022 ram bighorn 4x4. Instantly got rid of the throttle lag in the upper RPM range. Using city 3 and it's perfect everywhere.
This is my 3rd pedal commander. Running one currently on my 2018 JLU and had one on a 2019 ram Classic.

Everyone knows the ecodiesel isn’t a performance machine. I don’t know if it has a bad turbo lag or what, but the pedal commander has greatly improved acceleration and made the truck feel how it should have always been.

I installed the Pedal Commander in my 2019 Ram 1500 because of the awful lag when I stomped on the gas. So far, I am amazed with the responsiveness from my Hemi. I can't wait to get to the drag strip to try it out. I'm expecting a .4 or .5 second improvement from my last visit. I haven't seen the MPG improvement in the Eco Mode but I don't care. My truck is now a beast when in the Sport ++++ mode which is not recommended for daily driving. On the highest setting, even a light tap of thr gas chirps the tires every time. I wish I could put one in my 2023 Explorer (work vehicle) which has 300hp but is a sloth off of the line.

Easy installation. The Bluetooth pairing to my Galaxy S21 Ultra took several attempts, but finally got it to work.
Throttle response is pretty awesome. The city, sport and sport+ settings light up. Not sure why the economy setting doesn't??

I bought my first Pedal Commander a few years ago for my 2016 Dodge Scat Pack Challenger SRT 392 . I was very happy with how well it worked , as good or even better than advertised in my opinion . So I figured why not put a Pedal Commander on my 2022 Ram Bighorn 5.7 liter with E-Torq . As I expected I was very happy with this installation as well . The Pedal commander is quite easy to install , very simple to use , works great , drastically changing the acceleration and driving characteristics if it is set to do so . Improves the driving experience significantly . Pedal Commander is one of the best bang for the buck add ons for practically any vehicle . Great product . Vince

This is my second Pedal Commander. The first one was in a 2020 Honda Pilot and I loved it. I found that I was getting better gas mileage by about 3-5MPG while using the Eco mode. And it definitely eliminated the throttle lag. Now I’m using it in a TRX, and even though there’s not MUCH throttle lag, there is still a little bit. And it’s extremely noticeable when you turn the PC on and off. I’ve noticed ZERO benefit from the Eco mode, and that’s why I primarily bought this one. If I could even get 2mpg extra in eco mode, it would pay for itself. But haven’t noticed anything. Perhaps I need to drive it more in Eco mode so the ECU can adapt to it, but this is a performance vehicle after all. Still worth it just to get the instantaneous throttle. Would highly recommend.

I had purchased me a dodge hemi truck, and the gas mileage was lousy. Friends have told me to put a pedal commander in and it would help and it did now I get it 18 to 20 miles per gallon in a 2013 dodge 5.7 L hemi also if needed you can dial it up. Just by a touch of a finger. And you were fine. You had dropped a new engine in it with the extra power and response.
