Pedal Commander® for Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Have a Chevy 1500 with the 2.7 turbo. My truck loves the city mode at +3. So far great upgrade to my truck.

Installed on my 2019 Silverado 1500 2.7 Turbo. It has zero pedal lag now, it reveals the true De-Tuning that comes from the factory settings on this truck and its full potential. Glad I bought it.

I love my Pedal Commander, anytime I save fuel I’m happy but to save fuel AND have more speed when I want it or power when I want it is SPECTACULAR! I love choices!!

What an awesome experience from start to finish. I ordered the wrong unit. Sent pictures of my connector, customer service pinged me the next day, said order this one, we’ll send a return label for the other one and 3 days later I was installing it. NOW,,,let’s talk about my truck. Immediately I got on a flat and tested every level and setting so I understood what they meant. What an amazing change to my performance and feel. Why doesn’t GM just let you have the untapped power? Hell yes to Pedal Commander! Buy one, the unit or the companies passion won’t fail you!!!

I bought pedal commander right after I purchased my 2023 Chevrolet Silverado high Country 6.2L after I read articles about how well unit works that also offers numerous options that allows you to either enjoy driving performance or economy wise when programmed and calibrated in vehicle. I basically ripped my rear tires on first test run with unit that a left 180 feet burn out tire mark and also left another second tiremark when it went into shifting gears. My truck really hauls in sports mode and actually does better than my Corvette performance wise. I couldn’t be any happier after making this purchase as it has significantly improved performance of my truck and it also makes it fun to drive no matter what I’m doing! I’d recommend everyone who is looking for improvements in performance or saving gas to add unit to their vehicle. It’s definitely worth it no matter what. I plan to buy one for my 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71!

I finally got it hooked up i love this product works great

Completely different truck now. Don’t get it twisted, it doesn’t give you more horsepower but it does completely eliminate the pedal lag that the GM drive by wire system is known for. The truck is responsive and just a beast off the line now. I definitely recommend it for anyone who wants to get rid of the none responsive pedal.

Love what it did for performance. This is actually my second Pedal Commander for my truck. The first one I had, would occasionally trigger a check engine light. Recently it would do it more often and then I could not use it without triggering the check engine light every time I reinstalled. I bought the new one and it’s working great. I’ve researched another brand and I would not use anything but Pedal Commander. Definitely a great product.

Nothing is worse than stepping on the pedal of a stout 6.2 liter LS in a ZR2, and it feels like a pillow. Now, it's right. Basically, It's now right.

Have one in all my vehicles

Love mine, I have one in my silverado, and one in my mazda3, super easy install, no expensive add ons, and it does exactly what you want it to, wakes the vehicle up. Very responsive. And reliable, i've had mine in my mazda for over a year with no issues.

Man what a difference

2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT Crew Cab Std bed 3.0 LZO I live the fuel mileage that the little BabyMax give up, but the pedal lag and lazy turbo need to be unplugged. I tow a 20' bass boat usually 5k-7k miles per season in and around a major metropolitan area. That said, I need throttle response to get into traffic on area expressways and the Pedal Commander has been the ticket! 100% recommend!

I wanted something to make my new trucks accelerator pedal as responsive as my 04' Sierra was. The Pedal Commander met and exceeded my expectations. The fine tuning adjustments are helpful. I like the middle of sport mode. It's all I need. Shipped in decent time, easy install.

I absolutely love my pedal commander. It makes such a big difference. I really like the anti theft option. I recommend this product and especially the option for the anti theft.

Came from a 2020 Trail Boss that I recently traded in on a 2025 Trail Boss. Wanted to be able to wake up the pedal in my new truck Like I had in my previous truck. Pedal does it and more! I haven't even progressed to Sport and Sport+. I'm still on City mode with Pedal Commander. The increase in responsiveness is immediate. I can see that I will be enjoying this module for years to come. Install was super-quick and pedal response has me smiling again!

Got it quick, easy to install, noticed a big difference

Pedal commander has fixed the lagging pedal response in my 2012 chevy silverado Z71 crew cab pickup. 5.3L However they do need to use another shipping method other than USPS.

I was a bit apprehensive about installing the Pedal Commander on my 2021 Chevrolet Silverado Trail Boss. Anytime you add something to the throttle system, the first thought is safety — I didn’t want to risk creating any unwanted issues. I’m happy to say that none of those concerns became reality. Installation was simple, nothing went wrong, and it performed exactly as the manufacturer’s website claimed it would. I recently added a set of brand-new BFGoodrich KO3 tires, which added a noticeable amount of weight to the truck. The Pedal Commander completely made up for that difference, delivering smooth, responsive acceleration without any hiccups or odd behavior. My truck is more responsive now than it has ever been, and the driving experience is honestly better than I expected. I absolutely love it and highly recommend the Pedal Commander to anyone looking to wake up their truck safely and effectively.

Did exactly as promised, woke up my 5.3L engine, going to order one for my 6.2

What a difference it made to my truck, it use to have pedal lag intill my turbo would kick in. Not no more with the pedal commander I have powervwith the touch of the gas pedal.

Pedal Commander is exactly what it says, you command the pedal. The difference in settings is quite impressive. It was fun to adjust on the fly and feel the difference in power. I will say the Eco mode is just what it says. But the +4 and -4 are opposite from the other settings. -4 is stronger power and less Eco! So watch how you set it. My 5.3 ltr has never had so much life! Thank you.

So on the hwy I did a trip and got 30 mpg pure hwy exit to exit about 150 miles obviously once in town that mpg goes down with truck sitting on in the parking lot keeping the ac on so no one gets hot waiting on others at every stop. But there is definitely no way it can do that from factory so in economy mode all the way to minus 4 I think it was is the best way to save gas. Now it’s slow in town but you get used to it even towing. Now in full sport plus maxed out it’s touchy high revving race mode and it’s definitely faster to get going. No added power that I can tell but it’s moving way faster and sooner. Now towing on this mode is kinda bad it’s too jerky and dangerous in traffic so find a happy medium setting for that like sport regular. Anyway it’s fun to have instant personality change to the truck at a touch of a button except economy mode I have to go to my app setting to select it which is a pain. Turning it off too is nice cuz the oem setting is nice to have also on a flip of a switch. City setting is kinda slower than oem setting so idk what that’s for so far. It’s almost useless for me. Sport and oem and my two other custom settings is all I need. I am sure I will learn more as I have it. It’s only been a few weeks. Easy install though just put it where you can see the lights I don’t like where I put it so far.

I love sport 4 mode, it’s the perfect amount of responsiveness for my every day driving. I don’t need to punch the gas to get a reaction from my 2017 Silverado 1500, And I’m able to save fuel by just easing on the pedal. Love it!!! Thanks for helping my truck feel young again.

Just finished a 500 mile road trip and added 2 mpg. It's worth it. The soft pedal in Eco mode takes a bit to get used too, but I'm ok with it.

I cant say enough good things about the Pedal Commander I purchased for my 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500 Trail Boss. Super easy installation (plug and play). It brought my truck to life, you push the gas and something actually happens! Awesome throttle response with no delay through every mode. Makes your truck run like it should. I was sitting next to another Silverado at a light, and it turned green and i blew his doors off! It wasn't even close. We got up to the next light and he rolled down his window and asked WTF. I told him its the Pedal Commander. I'm pretty sure he went strait home and ordered one. Hahahahaha Also, Awesome customer service!!! I had a couple questions, I sent an email and got a response with in a couple hours answering all my question. Thanks Guys! Keep up the good work! I would Definitely recommend

The installation was very easy mechanically, but it was a little tricky to get both hands up under the dash to make the connections. It took me about 15 minutes so definitely not impossible. The unit is great and there is definitely a difference in City, Sport and Sport + modes. I tried Eco mode, but even if a get 1 or 2 mpg's more, I can't use it on the roads I drive daily. Overall I give it a 5 for City, Sport and Sport + modes.

Fun way to get the most out of your truck! Easy install and app setup to control via Bluetooth...loving it so far.

This pedal commander is a godsend. This woke my 2015 silverado 1500 4.3 up. I initially had it set to sport+ 4......oops. I squealed the tires at 3:30 am. I think that it woke a few neighbors up. I barely stepped on the accelerator and was going 60 in 4 seconds in a 45. I had to dial it back a few steps. It makes the truck Get up to speed.

This is my second Pedal Commander and like the first it works perfectly. It gets rid of the delay in the throttle and wakes up the truck. I know it doesn't add any horse power but it feels like you have added 50+ hp. I will use it on every new vehicle I buy.

Amazing. Worth it!

First, I was confused. I ordered the Pedal Commander and it came in very quickly, but it would not plug-in to my throttle. So working with Customer Service they sent me the correct one right away it plugged in perfect. I haven’t had a chance to use it, but everything starts and runs just fine.

Easy install!

Took awhile to get use to it but found the sweet spot for me at City 3. This setting is set for the transmission to keep up with the rpm’s. Is it worth the $300 still remains to be seen. I do know it jumps when I get on the the gas enough for our small town police dept officer stopped me to check it out after he told me to slow it down. I had pulled onto the hwy & before I knew it was going too fast in a not fast enough. Other than that I like it so far.

Very satisfied with the difference in the acceleration of my truck. It’s like night and day. Haven’t had it long enough to notice fuel mileage increase yet.

I love it and it's everything you said it was but I'm just worried cuz I've seen videos and other people say when it fails it leaves you and limp mode stranded check engine lights and even blow fuses is this true or false but my experience so far so good love it

The Pedal Commander is awesome! I love the response it gives my pedal compared to stock. The only comment I have is the adhesive tape provided does not like GM plastic very well in the heat. I Highly recommend this product to enhance your trucks performance!

To anyone out there that is thinking of getting the pedal commander, think no more. This thing is awesome. It's night and day difference!!!! I have bought 4 in the past year for different vehicles. I now have one on my 2024 Chevrolet silverado, and also have one on my 2025 Chevrolet Silverado. Would highly recommend it ! I can't imagine driving a vehicle without one.
