Cars Work Smarter with Pedal Commander's ECO Mode

Are you tired of paying high fuel bills every month? Do you want to improve your vehicle's fuel efficiency without sacrificing performance? Look no further than Pedal Commander's ECO mode. With this revolutionary device, you can take control of your vehicle's throttle response and improve your driving experience in a variety of ways.

Whether you are considering a Pedal Commander or already have one, knowing its full capabilities will make your experience much better. As you know, Pedal Commander has four modes. These modes can enhance the driving experience and help you customize your car to your taste. Pedal Commander can also be an indispensable tool, especially when you know which mode to use.

What is ECO Mode and How Does it Work?

ECO mode is one of the four driving modes available on the Pedal Commander device. It works by regulating the amount of power sent to the vehicle's engine, resulting in smoother and more efficient driving. When ECO mode is activated, the throttle response is reduced, which in turn leads to less fuel consumption. Here’s a brief explanation of what you’ll find throughout the article:

    • Improve your vehicle's fuel efficiency by up to 20%
    • Have better control and traction when driving off-road
    • Make towing heavy loads easier and safer
    • Easy and quick installation without special tools or technical knowledge
    • Three more driving modes are available other than ECO mode (City, Sport, and Sport+)
    • Have a more enjoyable driving experience with smoother and more efficient driving.

How to Turn On ECO Mode?

Switching to the ECO mode is quite simple if you are using our app to control Pedal Commander. You just click on the ECO mode, and you are done. Just like our other modes.
But if you use the control module, turning ECO mode on is slightly different than our other modes. You must press and hold the star button (mode selection button) for three seconds to switch to ECO mode.

Please keep in mind that intensity selection is reversed in ECO mode. So, ECO-4 accelerates faster than ECO+4.

    Why is ECO Mode Important?

    Most of our customers buy the Pedal Commander to increase the throttle response for a sportier feeling. ECO mode does the exact opposite. It slows the throttle response and makes your car accelerate far slower. While it may seem counterintuitive, there are some situations where you will be glad you have the ECO mode! For example;

  • ECO mode can improve MPG by up to 20%. It can achieve that figure by slowing and smoothing the throttle curve.
  • ECO mode can eliminate unwanted wheelspin, especially when traveling through tough terrain and slippery conditions.
  • Because ECO mode slows the acceleration, it can be used as a valet or a teenager mode.
  • ECO mode makes acceleration buttery smooth. If you want a relaxed driving experience, give ECO mode a try!

How Much Can You Save with ECO Mode?

According to Pedal Commander, ECO mode can improve your vehicle's fuel efficiency by up to 20%. This is a significant improvement that can lead to big savings over time, especially for those that drive long distances regularly. The more you drive, the more noticeable the effect of ECO mode will be.

    Pedal Commander Saves Fuel

But ECO mode is not just about fuel efficiency. It can also be helpful in other driving situations, such as off-road adventures and towing.

Your Best Buddy on Off-road Adventures: Pedal Commander

When you're out in the wilderness, off-road driving can be a thrilling and rewarding experience. But it can also be dangerous if you're not properly prepared. That's why it's important to have good traction and control over your vehicle when driving off-road. And that's where Pedal Commander's ECO mode comes in.

    Pedal Commander on Off-Road

ECO mode is designed to regulate the acceleration rate of your vehicle, which allows your car tires to project more power to the terrain without slipping. This means you can tackle rough terrain with more ease and confidence, knowing that your car is working with you rather than against you.

Why Pedal Commander’s ECO Mode Though?

Think of it like this - when you're driving on a smooth road, your car's acceleration rate is designed to speed you up as quickly as possible. But when you're driving off-road, that same acceleration rate can cause your car to spin out or lose control on rough terrain. ECO mode solves this problem by reducing the acceleration rate, which helps to improve your car's traction and stability.

Car on Long Road with Pedal Commander

And the benefits of ECO mode don't stop there. By reducing your car's acceleration rate, you'll also be reducing the wear and tear on your vehicle's tires and suspension system. This means you'll be extending the life of your car's components and potentially saving yourself a lot of money in the long run.

So if you're planning on hitting the trails anytime soon, make sure you're equipped with Pedal Commander's ECO mode. With its ability to regulate acceleration and improve traction, it's the perfect tool for off-road adventures.

Better Towing With Pedal Commander ECO Mode

Towing heavy loads can be a real challenge, especially when you're trying to get up a steep hill or incline. When you're towing, you need to have good traction and control over your vehicle, so you can safely and efficiently haul your cargo. And that's where Pedal Commander's ECO mode can help.

ECO mode is designed to regulate the acceleration rate of your vehicle, which can make a big difference when you're towing heavy loads. By lowering the acceleration rate and providing you the freedom to press your pedal, ECO mode ensures that your car won't slip backward when clutching, even when you're carrying a heavy load.

    Using Pedal Commander for Towing

This can make towing much easier and safer, as you'll have more control over your vehicle and be able to navigate inclines and hills with greater ease. You won't have to worry about your car losing traction or slipping backward, which can be a major source of stress and frustration when towing heavy loads.

It is Possible to Achieve Less Stress

The benefits of ECO mode don't stop there. By reducing the stress on your car's transmission and engine, you'll be extending the life of your vehicle's components and potentially saving yourself a lot of money in repair costs down the line.

So if you're planning on towing heavy loads anytime soon, make sure you're equipped with Pedal Commander's ECO mode. With its ability to regulate acceleration and improve traction, it's the perfect tool for all your towing needs.

Pedal Commander vs Other Fuel-saving Devices

There are many fuel-saving devices on the market, but Pedal Commander stands out for its versatility and ease of use. Let’s check out a few of the fuel-saving devices for comparison:

Fuel additives: Chemicals that are added to your car's fuel to improve its performance and efficiency. While some fuel additives may provide marginal improvements in fuel efficiency, they can also be expensive and may not be compatible with all types of vehicles.

Aerodynamic devices: Aerodynamic devices, such as spoilers and air dams, are designed to improve your car's aerodynamics and reduce drag, which can improve fuel efficiency. However, these devices can be expensive to install and may not be practical for all types of vehicles.

Engine tuning: Engine tuning involves modifying your car's engine to improve its performance and fuel efficiency. While engine tuning can provide significant improvements in performance and efficiency, it can also be expensive and may void your car's warranty.

Hybrid conversion kits: Hybrid conversion kits are designed to convert your gas-powered car into a hybrid, which can significantly improve fuel efficiency. However, these kits can be expensive and may not be practical for all types of vehicles.

Fuel-efficient tires: Fuel-efficient tires are designed to reduce rolling resistance, which can improve fuel efficiency. While fuel-efficient tires can provide some savings in gas, they can also be expensive and may not be as effective as other fuel-saving devices.

Unlike other devices that require complicated installation and calibration, Pedal Commander can be installed quickly and easily without any special tools or technical knowledge. Furthermore, Pedal Commander's ECO mode is just one of four driving modes available on the device. You can switch between ECO mode, City mode, Sport mode, and Sport+ mode depending on your driving needs and preferences.
