How to Install ###PLUG### Pedal Commander Performance Upgrade for Your Vehicle?

If the vehicle in the video and your vehicle is not the same, don’t worry. Pedal Commander installation steps are always the same regardless of the vehicle model.

Turn off the ignition and then wait 10-15 minutes with your driver's door open to allow your ECU to shut down.

Disconnect your accelerator pedal assembly plug, and then plug in the heads to connectors on the Pedal Commander.

Clean up the area where you want to mount the control module with the alcohol wipe and stick the bracket with the supplied velcro.

After you make sure the cables are secure and won't be tangled, you are ready to enjoy Pedal Commander.

Worked better than expected. I have mine in sport -4 and it’s still a little touchy when taking off from a dead stop. Ii have 22” wheels and 37x13.5’s and they spin pretty easy on wet pavement! It accelerates very nicely though with very little pedal. Any higher than sport -4, the Tranny shifts a little wonky under mild to heavy acceleration. I had to back it down a few clicks. City is probably best for all around driving. Overall very happy with it.

I was very hesitant when I purchased it. How much of a difference could it possibly have… Installed it, quick and easy. Mounted it where I wanted it than plugged it in all Of 5 min. Started the truck up And took a drive into town. Put it on sport mode out the gate , soon as I hit open road stepped on the gas and just like it says it would, I responded instantly. Picked up Speed quick. I was impressed, however after the 15 min drive into town, that’s when I realized how much difference it made on the low end. Every stop light when the green light come on, it feels like you’re in a race. You Jump Out so fast that the car next to you start to hit their gas and off to the races we go! It was like that at every light. Now when I am in town, I just keep it off. It’s fun no doubt a great product. Now to search for a top end speed !

Noticeable difference with my driving style. Saw some reviews on this testing 0-60 mph and honestly, who cares about that? This helps but if 0-60 is what you want/need then just delete your truck and tune it (I’ve done it on previous trucks and it’s awesome). But if better throttle response and eliminating turbo lag is what tit want — GET THIS.

City mode has plenty response, Sport mode.......hold onto your hat, it flat goes. I have not tried to use the 4th setting as I just put new tires on and would like to keep some tread on them for awhile. 2019 Ford F350 Lariat Dually. I would of took a video but! You have to hold on with both hands as it absolutely turns your truck into a tire eating machine. Favorite setting is Sport+ level 2. Don’t let your significant other or kids drive because they will not know how to feather the throttle upon a green light. You will infect eat the back end of the vehicle in front of you. Shifting between gears is almost unnoticeable. Like going to the bar spitting out a killer pick up line to the bar tender and taking her home. You’ll love this, especially if you have modified your truck

Easy install. Well made. And definitely works. It made my 12,000lb 6.7 super duty feel like a completely different truck. Used to be super laggy, now I can set it to sport mode with my phone and it feels like a rocket ship, lol. Sport+ is a bit much for me, feels like it’s just over revs and the transmission can’t keep up. I haven’t messed with the eco settings yet but I’m sure it does exactly what they say it does.

So far so good I love it took approximately 5 minutes to install and ready to test. I have an F350 4 door duly and on the test at the highest settings break tires lose actually left black marks on the concrete. Not dark hot Rod black marks but could see the traction marks built power and boost instantly. Very happy and pleased with the money it cost. Will not override the governor but I knew that prior to purchasing.

I have been watching videos about people that have added this to their truck. I drive a 2017 F350 dulley with the 4:10 rear end. From the factory it’s a dog when needing to get out in traffic with the factory setting for the throttle. NOT ANYMORE! Wow, what a difference Pedal Commander has made. This thing is a blast and really let's you fine tune the pedal sensitivity, but DO NOT use the alcohol wipe it comes with to clean your vehicle. It removed the paint from the trim piece I was mounting it to! Brand new 80k truck and I've already ruined a piece on the dash.

I have a 2020 Ford F350 super duty. All I can say is WOW. I didn’t know what to expect because it doesn’t actually add horsepower. Basically takes what your truck already has and makes the best use of it. I love driving around in sport plus but living in Florida Between wet roads and traffic it could be a little dangerous. If I put it in sport plus turned up to +4 my truck literally won’t go anywhere it just spins my tires. If you have been itching to make some upgrades this is a no-brainer. I can’t believe how big of a difference it makes. I’ll put it this way, if I had to get another one and the price went up to $600 I would.

2019 Ford F350 6.7L. I've been using an Edge Products CTS2 tuner and got noticeable, but not great improvements. Edge Products also sells a unit similar to Pedal Commander. It got mixed reviews so I didn't want to spend the money on it because it wasn't returnable if it didn't work. I decided to purchase the Pedal Commander unit because I would be able to return it. It took several minutes to install. My initial setting was City +4. I was amazed the first time I drove my truck after the install. The acceleration was much improved and the hesitation was noticeably reduced. My impression was that it added more performance improvement than the programmer alone. I am very impressed and happy with this unit. I'm not sure if there is any decrease or increase in fuel economy. I'll edit my review after a few tanks.
