Pedal Commander® Throttle Response Controller for Land Rover Range Rover

What an amazing product. Range Rover 5.0 Supercharged is a monster on its own. But my one complaint was always the pedal lag. Talk about waking the Beast!!!! I have a heavy foot and even on the City 3 setting it's a Rocket Now for the Sport and Sport + modes your just gonna have to get one for yourselves, can't ruin the Surprise!!!! Lol Great job guys!!!!

Easy to install, does what it said it does- I’m happy with it!

I installed a Pedal Commander on my Range Rover.. What a difference! This thing completely changes the throttle response! It's much quicker, and it’s way more fun to drive. No more lag. The different modes are awesome. I mainly stick to city mode with a minus 1. Gas milage went up over 5 miles to the gallon. The install was a breeze, took me about 20 minutes, and because of the Bluetooth, it's out of site. I've tuned every car I've ever had but heard it can really mess with the electronics on these cars. Decided to try the Pedal Commander. If you’ve ever felt like your Range Rover was sluggish, this is the fix. It feels like a totally different car and I couldn’t be happier. Definitely worth it!

order #174870 I just purchased a Pedal commander for my 2020 Land Rover full body L405 SV Autobiography and had it shipped to Iraq via shipping forwarder . Normally Land Rover Range Rover Vouge L405 V8 supercharged has a powerful engine just like Sport SVR , but it has a big throttle lag , it has a lazy acceleration because it's designed for smooth ride, unlike Range Rover SVR * Which I have that too ) . So I got my toy in hand after 2 weeks , before installing it I followed the instruction, engine off, left the door open for 15 minutes until the ECU was completely did shut off with the FOB was 50 feet away from the vehicle. then I cranked the engine, no error codes, no check engine lights , I did set the controller on City +4 . then I drove up ... WTF ??? it felt like added additional 300 HP , it was jumping and kicking like a mule . I was surprised and my eyes were wide opened , shocked in disbelief. My Range Rover L405 turned into the most powerful muscle car. Then I drove outside the city and switched to a higher level "Sport 1, 2, 3, 4 .. Damn , I thought the engine will come out of the hood , I never thought it's possible for such a little device to add such power without any effort. When I switched to "Sport +" mode 1, 2, 3, 4 .. I started to feel that I'm flying a jet ( No joke ) in fact I was worried that it might damage engine mounts, transmission mounts or even axles . I would highly recommend you not to use Sport+ if you have any vehicle with V8 engine with or without supercharged / Turbo engine , you will hurt yourself . Do not use the vehicle's Sport mode along with Pedal Commander Sport or Sport+ mode because you will break your neck and passengers too. I would buy Pedal commander for any vehicle I will purchase in the future too . I will try to take a full video reviews , just to show how wonderful this device is . If you are one of those type of car enthusiasts and appreciate high performance driving vehicle, Pedal commander is a must have. I'm sure some unhappy guys out there who installed it without following the instruction they ended up with faulty signals , error codes and check engine lights . If you install it correctly, you might end up buying 2 of them, just in case it might get discontinued :)))))) See Youtube video reviews from honest buyers, then you will know what I'm talking about. The Pedal Commander definitely woke the Range Rover up. Almost feels like you did a tune! It was extremely easy to install. Even on city +2 it wants to go. Awesome product!

As advertised. Easy to install, noticeable performance increase in torque. Have not measured any MPG improvements, so can't comment there.

As a Land Rover/Range Rover guy… I loved my L405 2016 RZ he Rover… but always hated the initial throttle lag of my 3.0 Diesel … it always had plenty of acceleration one it got going… the Pedal Commander totally solved that issue… was totally impressed and love the tuneability between the different driving modes… highly recommended

2nd Pedal Commander purchase and worth every penny! I can't believe how much better the throttle response is. I don't even put my RRS in Dynamic mode now because the throttle response is so good in normal mode that I am getting MPG, even being in City +3 mode because I'm not running in Dynamic mode and driving at a higher gear ratio.

This is how the Range Rover Sport SHOULD have come from the factory! I haven't even tried Sport + yet but I love city and sport modes. Best purchase for the RRS I've made so far!

Absolutely worth purchasing! I bought this for my 2017 Range Rover Sport HSE. For a diesel the HSE is zippy but It was missing something because I could always keep up with the souped up trucks but would always run out of power in the end. This gives the RR a boost whether off the line or on the highway already doing $75 mph. I haven’t even tried Sport Plus mode and am thrilled with this product. Seriously easy to install. It took me longer to find the right socket for the cover below the steering wheel than it did to plug this device in. A place to mount it is going to be the tricky part, but not because of this part, because of the limited spaces the RR has to mount it. If your expecting something the size of…..i don’t know, but it’s much smaller than I expected. If you have ever bought LED strip lights, then it’s about the size of the remotes that come with them. The app works great. I haven’t had any issues at all since purchasing. I have not tried to adjust mixes or levels while driving nor do I intend to. It works as described if not better than expected. GET IT!

Honestly best thing I’ve bought for my car yet

This device is awesome, instant results and true to what they say the device will do. Currently on my 2nd one but was sent the wrong pedal commander. Waiting for an exchange but customer service here at camarillo have been horrible at arranging the fix of their mess up. They sent me the wrong pedal commander for my range rover, now in the process of trying to get an exchange for the correct one because they sent the wrong one but their efforts to fix their effort is horrible. The product is amazing and like I said, this is my 2nd purchase for a different car I now have. But customer service and awareness of their packaging is no WHERE near as good as the product. On going 2 weeks now since I've requested an exchange for their mistake and still haven't even been consistently contacted and instructed to how to resolve the issue they caused. Product 5/5 Customer service 1/5

So simple to install and makes a night and day difference!!! It made my Rover Sport jump from a stop and SUV feels like a sports car. I don’t usually write reviews but I simply had to for this item. Take my word on this one

Quick background. I use a tuner for my Chevy Tahoe, and have been happy with the results there. My wife has never been happy with the acceleration on her RR Sport, due mostly to the throttle lag at initial takeoff. I initially looked into a full tuner for the RRS, but found those to be prohibitively expensive. During my search, I came across the option of a throttle response controller. After some further research and reading multiple reviews of this product and others, it seemed like a good option with no real drawbacks other than I was still not convinced that it would improve the performance to the level I (she) desired. I decided on the Pedal Commander primarily due to the bluetooth connection, as it would allow me to hide the controller under the dash.I had my 19 YO son do the install, just for practice, and it was super easy with no issues. Bluetooth phone app works great as well. So all good on install and setup. Regarding performance and results, I have to say I am blow away. The City mode is slightly better than stock, and the Sport mode eliminates virtually any throttle lag, and the Sport Plus mode is so "twitchy" (In a good way, to me...) that my wife decided the Sport mode was more than enough for her. Made a huge difference in performance and would definitely buy again.
