Make sure your Pedal Commander® unit is successfully paired with your mobile device via our mobile app. After subscribing to the service and completing a simple, three-step calibration procedure, you can start using the mode. Pedal Commander®’s anti-theft mode renders your vehicle’s throttle system completely inoperable, ensuring it stays immobile and secure**.

The Ford Police Interceptor Utility is engineered to deliver relentless performance and reliability in the most demanding law enforcement situations. However, the stock drive-by-wire throttle system comes with built-in throttle lag that holds the Interceptor back.
Pedal Commander® throttle response controller is a plug-and-play upgrade that eliminates throttle delay and transforms your throttle response. With four driving modes (Eco, City, Sport, and Sport+) and nine adjustment levels per mode, you can fine-tune your response to match any mission. Plus, the built-in Anti-Theft feature adds an extra layer of vehicle security when you need it most.

The second-generation Ford Police Interceptor Utility (FPIU) is based on the U625 Explorer, and the Hybrid version is the only pursuit-rated hybrid police utility vehicle.
