Hands down it's the best ~$300 upgrade to a vehicle I've ever spent. I actually like my 4runner now. It's literally a day and night difference.
Roland L.
The forerunner is a lot more responsive. The plug-in play is excellent. They only bad is the adhesive to mount. It usually just hangs there. That’s the only take away from my pedal commander aside from that it’s excellent.
Heather
We added the pedal commander to our 2015 4Runner and wow what a difference! We honestly thought this would be a scam, but it’s a game changer! We can safely pull out of our neighborhood now!
RAYMOND O.
Made a big difference we love it
Kaochian S.
Better acceleration then before
David
Wow
Earl L.
The annoying throttle delay is completely gone. The 4Runner is way more responsive now, and I love that I don't have to go wide open throttle just to merge onto the highway anymore. Highly recommend!
Garrett B.
Amazing difference. Way more than I ever expected. 2021 4runner
John D.
Car is so much more responsive. We will put it on ECO mode for our drive home from Lake Superior and see if we get any better gas mileage.
Craig H.
It makes a huge difference! Super easy install
Mitch G.
It certainly woke my 4 runner up
Joseph A.
Fast shipping, great email correspondence. Simple install, immediate results.
Kevan T.
Very cool product. It really improves the driving experience. I would highly recommend
The Pedal Commander.
Marc s.
No problems ordering and the follow up emails kept me super informed as to its arrival. It came a few days later. I unboxed it and even saved the plastic container it came if for fuses and other small things in the glove box. Installation was easy-peazy and the required app was super intuitive. All ready to drive in under 5 min. Super pleased.
Brent M.
DO NOT buy this product unless you want some speeding tickets ! Hot damn! Makes a world of difference in my 4Runner. Major improvement in all areas of driving. No longer a lag when trying to pass on the interstate or leaving a red light. I couldn’t be happier!
Jim F.
It makes a real difference in acceleration. It just jumps off the line now instead of crawling, lol like a stock forerunner. I waited two years to buy this and now that I bought it I should’ve bought it sooner.
Mike M.
Bought this for my new 2026 4Runner. After the first couple days driving, I could feel the delayed response for acceleration and sluggishness.
Bought the Pedal Commander after reading all the positive reviews. Installed it in about 10 minutes. Took the car out for a test drive and wow! Just on City Driving at +3 the car felt like a rocket! Immediate response from acceleration!
Great investment! Love it!!
Janson H.
Really worth the cost, transforms performance of the 4runner
erik m.
What a difference with it on works great thank you so much love using it everyday
Lance B.
I have one on my jeep and my 4 runner, they’re great! I highly recommend this product. Easy installation.
Riyadh A.
The only reason I am giving 4 stars because the velcro stickers doesn’t stick and they look like not working
John D.
Love it so much! The city mode alone gives me so much power. I’ve been seeing the ads on FB but never had the guts to go for it. When I did, the best experience ever. I already took it for a seven hour drive to Napa and it was great.
James V.
F%^&&* ing Awesome
Jennifer
This is incredible— now our old 4runner drives like a whole new car! You will not regret buying this!!
Mark Z.
5 minute install,life time improvement!
Andrew M.
Easy install. Fantastic throttle response it's like adding a supercharger.
Matthew M.
This is the 2nd pedal commander I’ve purchased. 1st one was for a Chevy Colorado diesel and wow!! This one is for a 2023 4Runner that recently got some off-road upgrades. The pedal commander definitely brings the vehicle to life.
Dennis M.
Matches up with the super charger perfectly!
Norman T.
Really makes a difference. I don't know why it's not stock on vehicles.
James W.
Did the trick. Unshackled the pep in my 4Runner. Easy to install. Instant improvement. Abolishes pedal lag. So far, excellent product.
Chris I.
This is my second pedal commander One on a 17 Tacoma one on a 22 4Runner very good product!
Jason W.
Easy fix to the sluggishness of factory settings.
Mark S.
Snappy!! I am surprised at the response.
Nicholas T.
The performance is outstanding and the controls really bring it all together for a great personalized improvement in the experience of acceleration! Big changes if you want them, but able to be scaled back to learn the sensitivity. Great option to have available on demand. After driving stock for 15+ years, would recommend!
Skyler J.
Worked exactly as described!!!
alberto c.
The best upgrade for my 4Runner, 100% recommended it
Edmundo Marco E.
Awesome device after I installed it, the acceleration was felt, right on the get go. The only issue I had is that it keeps on falling. When I opened the box there was no sticker on the back of the sticky thing, that makes the device keeps on falling, there is no even wipes
Shea C.
Everyone has been telling me how great this product is. Everyone was telling more than the truth. I love everything about it. Don't change anything.
So easy to install, My wife could do it.
Madelyn M.
Easy installation and very effective!
Paul R.
The ONLY thing I didn't care for in my 2022 TRD Pro was its acceleration rate. Pedal Commander TOTALLY fixed that! I'm not one to buy many aftermarket items but I'm so glad I bought this product. It's worth every penny in my opinion! WHAT A DIFFERENCE!
James P.
Shipped fast, easy install, noticeable increase in throttle response and fuel economy. All around good experience and quality product.
Adam
Definitely recommend
Notice big time
Brian T.
Does exactly what they promised
Reynaldo A.
Sold my Tundra and decided to get a 2024 4runner. I was not happy with the throttle lag until I installed pedal commander. I have it set at SPORT+1, didn't notice much change with MPG but then again I don't have a heavy foot, but it's there when needed. No regrets.
Ilde M.
Hands down! Best thing you can get for a 5th gen 4Runner!
Joshua B.
I love that I have more control over the gas pedal whether I’m cruising, in the city, or needing to pick up speed. Easy to install, easy to setup, and I could tell the difference right away.
Colin R.
Night and day difference on throttle response
Derek S.

My goodness! My 4runner feels like a completely different vehicle. Pedal Commander has made an amazing difference. Why did I wait so long?! Probably the best purchase I've made for my 4runner
John R.
Have one on all my vehicles. Love them!
Jeffrey M.
I was skeptical as most are, but when our foreman at work told me he was impressed, I pulled the trigger! WOW! The throttle response is UNBELIEVABLE! Try one for yourself....
Chad
World of a difference i can't believe it
Richard H.
Made a great improvement in driving experience. An easy installation
Ryan H.
The responsiveness can be felt. I have been using the city +3 for the last week and it’s amazing, huge difference. I’m happy about the purchase.
Felipe R.
Great Product, Great Support!! I love
Mark B.
When having my 2024 4Runner serviced at the dealership, I mentioned to the service adviser how sluggish it was at times and he recommended that I get a Pedal Commander. Within a few days of ordering the product arrived and i was excited to start the installation which was easy and only took a few minutes. I do recommend that you disconnect the negative terminal of the battery prior to doing any work and use a pair of electrical disconnect pliers to help remove the pigtail from the gas pedal. I settled on the City mode + 2. If you want to wake up your ride I highly recommend the Pedal Commander!
Marco A.
Works as it should pedal response is way better my v8 4runner feels like a v8 now .
steve w.
it douse what says works awesome i have told other people a bout it they want to get one now its instant right off the line i got it a sport 2 love it
Miles Y.
This pedal commander work great on my 4runner. It works like a new motor I am proud of it and looking to buy more in the future.
Matt G.
Didn't add this to my 4runner till 180k mi. Can't believe how much better it drives. Combined with a new magnaflow exhaust it's really a joy to drive again.
Jason R.
Solid upgrade — feels like how it should’ve come from the factory.
Definitely happy with the Pedal Commander. It woke my 2020 4Runner right up, throttle response is way quicker now. No more sluggish feel when I hit the gas. Just makes it drive smoother and more in tune with what I expect. It’s a simple change, but it really makes a big difference behind the wheel.
Christopher E.
The install took a few minutes and the app makes adjusting very easy. It definitely woke my 4Runner up!!
steve l.
Works on my 2018 4Runner better than I expected! It's now extremely responsive and like a totally different vehicle, for the better, including slightly better gas mileage even in sport mode!
John C.
Took the lag completely out of my 2024 Toyota 4Runner. Much better throttle response. Wakes the truck up nicely, without breaking the bank. I’ve used this on my 2015 Tacoma and it worked wonders. To all those who say dumb shit like “it doesn’t make the truck faster” or “just press the throttle down more” you have no idea how this actually works. It speeds up the throttle blade opening by showing it more voltage. It’s actually crisper than just holding down the throttle. I have something similar on my C8 corvette.
Randy
Very happy with this product for sure!
Evan Y.
Seems to be working well. MPH has increased by 2 in city mode. One complaint and I keep seeing it is the Velcro. It is very cheap Velcro. If they plan to sell to people who use it in hot areas of the country supply extremely Velcro. May cost them .50 more but for a $300 unit that’s a small price. Contacted customer service and they keep saying buy more Velcro from us. If the supplied ones failed in a few hours why buy the and again!!!
John
Solid purchase for my ‘24 4Runner. The pedal lag is gone.
Christopher R.
Easy install, what a culture shock from stock to sport plus!
We have 3 PCs in the family and each one including mine, the adhesive failed and the controller was left dangling. Not good folks.
jack s.
Now my 4runner can keep up with all the other vehicles on the roads. Before the stock pedal was extremely unresponsive especially when trying to pass another vehicle.
Heather B.
BIG IMPROVEMENT! LOVE IT!
Craig C.
Definitely removed “dead pedal lag”. Great performer and easy install. No brainer.
Marc B.
Arrived quick. Took less than 10min to install. Super easy. BEST mod I have done so far too my 5th Gen 2023 4RUNNER!
Touch the gas, it goes. Like 4 basic settings and levels of each. Pretty much just leave on City and it's fine.
Douglas L.
Works as advertised. Plug-N-Play attachment. I went thru the different settings and City4+ seemed to be a sweet spot for decreased lag time and drivability. Even my wife loved the way her 4Runner now responds to accelerator commands.
Terence R.
Can feel it rite away
Donald O.
BAD ASS
Kirk C.
Single best plug and play upgrade ever!! What a difference the Pedal Commander made for my 23 4Runner. With a number of modes and settings it was easy to tune to my driving patterns. Would definitely recommend to fix the 4Runners slow pedal response.
Thomas W.
Definitely a must on the 4runners. And picked up one for my Tacoma. Dead pedals on both. Huge difference.
Wesley T.
Instructions straight forward. Notice the positive action in the throttle response immediately. Have yet to experience the going ballistic mode. Enjoying it!
Bryan M.
Pedal Commander for Toyota four Runner easy installation less than 10 minutes. Throttle response is incredible. You don’t really know the difference until you get one of these things instant with four different modes, Eco city sport and sport plus there are several options for your offloading experience may it be rock, crawling, or fire roads. Definitely worth getting one of these performances incredible.
John H.
Absolutely the best solution you can put in your 4Runner to have immediate and precise access to all your engines power. Took me 10 min to install as well
Mark Jefte E.
Excellent product! Keep it up
Brad S.
Getting a lot better mileage with it on eco mode. Super easy to install.
Very happy
William P.
Easy to install! Works really well! Easy to adjust to various settings. Made driving much more responsive thus much better. Very simple to use. This is a ‘must have’ for anyone wanting to have more control of their 4Runner!
Ann W.
I am 71 and apparently didn't have the finger strength to depress the locking clip on the accelorator plug enough to release the plug. I even bought some electrical plug plyers but you can't get them into position to use them so don't waste your money on those. I had a friend who is about 20 years younger come by and disconnect the plug for me. After that, installation was a snap. I have found that you can change the settings while driving if you wait to fo it while you are stopped and your foot isn't on the accelorator. The change is instantanious. Before the Pedal Commander was installed, I was getting about 16 MPG on my 2019 4Runner. I have found that I like City +3 best for my driving style but my MPG went down to about 14. I bumped the setting back to City +2 and I am back to about 16 MPG. Your driving style will effect this more than anything. With the inproved response on the throttle you will have to retrain your foot so you aren't goosing it every time you want to go. In short time, you will get used to that and everything will smooth out again. I highly recommend the Pedal Commander and what it can do to your ride.
Leslie W.
This the second unit I've had. First on my Gladiator and now with my 4runner. I did a gear swap and supercharger on 4runner and the Pedal Commander was the icing on the cake. Great product. Thanks, Glen.
Arsen S.
GOOD GOOD GOOD !!!!!!!
Ray S.
Worth every penny!!! I could tell an instant change as soon as it was turned on. Very, very impressive. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for the biggest bang for your buck. Great job with this one! I couldn’t imagine life without it now that I have it. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!!!
Scott M.
It does what it says, no more lag , and install was very easy.
Steve S.
great product.
Geykel G.
Must have if you own a 5th gen 4Runner!
William T.
The device is great. The constant begging for a review loses the company stars
Gene R.
I was hoping I would at least have small difference after the install but, wow! The response time change for each level was deliberate and clear. I also like the ability to fine-tune within each level.
Natasha D.
Bought this for my husband and he absolutely loved it!
Mario G.
The install was quick and easy and the app makes adjusting the setting quick and easy as well. I honestly can’t believe I waited this long to get the Pedal Commander for my 4runner
SERV William C.
I installed this into my 2013 Toyota 4Runner- Limited Edition which I have always ensured she runs at optimal performance without major modifications - utilizing the best upgrades available! For over a year my mechanic has mentioned/ recommended installing the Pedal Commander. I surely regret missing out on this insanely impressive upgrade for so long. After finding my sweet spot on the controller I now have the pleasure of driving the most extremely responsive 4Runner in town! It is simply unbelievable the degree of improvement without major modifications! If you’re even thinking about it - BUY IT TODAY- you won’t regret it!!!
Alfred M.
Love it
It’s a whole new car
Shane S.
Was so mad at my 4runner for having the worst throttle response I have ever felt. After pedal commander (City mode +1), it feels like I did an engine swap for something twice the horsepower. Very pleased with the throttle response now. Thanks Pedal Commander!
Ryo
Great for making the 4Runner run with a little more zip and to the Eco mode is great for cruising on the highway. I got up to 25.5 mpg the other day! I love that there’s physical buttons. Highly recommend.
Tim
Great product . Works very well
